Heather Cottage – Happisburgh

Sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms

Heather Cottage is a stylish but comfortable three bedroom cottage in one of the most popular villages in this area – Happisburgh. It’s not only a hop and skip from the local dog friendly pub, The Hill House, but a lovely stroll to the dog friendly, sandy beach and plenty of easy countryside walks. The garden is enclosed and dogs are most welcome. The owners live in the village and have 4 dogs of their own so they completely understand how important it is to be properly dog friendly.

The village also boasts a small shop, wonderful fresh fish shop, some beautiful old buildings and a lot of history…plus plenty of peace and quiet.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. What a fabulous place to spend a glorious September week. Comfortable, well thought out with everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Best breakfast at the sugar and spice cafe in Bacton, the best dinners were at the Whitehorse at Neatishead and The Butchers Arms.

What a cottage (so good we’ve booked again for next year!). Everything and more we could have wished for. Weather has been good to us. Dogs have had a whale of a time, in fact, think we’ve walked their legs off! Love this area, it really makes for a relaxing break.

This is our 6th visit to Norfolk and our 5th ERC property. This cottage is ideally placed for daily walks on the gorgeous Happisburgh beach and a great place to explore from. The cottage is comfortable and the bed provides for a great night sleep. Shame that the pigeons are so noisy! Loved hearing the church bells on a Sunday though, a nice relaxing holiday so thank you!
