Welcome to our two self catering holiday cottages in East Ruston, Norfolk.

The Old Piggery is a converted part of an old Norfolk barn, sited in a quiet village lane and on the owners' small holding. It is very recently completed with many rural touches, a wood burning stove, solid Norfolk pamment floors and with interesting eco-friendly systems in place.  Sleeps 6 and is dog and child friendly.
Can be booked for whole weeks or short breaks.

The Old Forge is exactly that. The original village Forge sympathetically converted to provide beds for 10 guests - all on the ground floor.  Two of the old fireplaces are still in situ – one is useable as an open fire.  An excellent venue for larger parties of guests and family gatherings, though smaller parties can be catered for.
Dogs and children welcome.  Can also be booked for whole weeks or short breaks.

Both cottages are well situated for fishing, both sea and on local lakes, cycling, lots of walking routes, including the Weavers Way, bird watching, visiting local gardens (including East Ruston Old Vicarage gardens).  For all the area has to offer see the About Us and Attractions pages.
