It's a dog's life!

The Old Piggery

The Old Piggery is a single storey conversion from an old farm building and is attached to an old Norfolk threshing barn.  It is finished to a high standard, using many reclaimed materials and is furnished and decorated in a simple, fresh rural style.

Pamment flooring with washable rugs and no stairs make it very suitable for children, dogs and those with limited mobility.

The ground source heat pump for underfloor heating and rainwater collection system may be of interest to those wishing for a more environmentally sensitive holiday.
See our Green page for more information.

The barn yard is a lovely place to spend an evening over dinner or a barbecue and watch the sun go down and the aerial shows by the swallows, bats and barn owl.  Also a very safe space for dogs.

"Quite simply the most dog friendly holiday cottage we've ever stayed in.  We've been to The Old Piggery three times now and will continue to visit regularly - why go anywhere else when Sue and Dermot have provided everything we could possibly need - and welcome us with our 6 dogs. The feel of the cottage is perfect, very dog friendly but also contemporary and chic. Dog friendly beaches nearby and walks from the cottage - what more could you ask for?"
