St Benets, Sea Palling
"Our second trip back to St Benets. Loved it just as much as the first time round. Don't think there is a better holiday home. Love Sea Palling. Never been before last year, but is now a firm favourite not just mine but whole family. Beach is gorgeous!!
"Last minute break - couldn't have wished for anything better. Takes dog friendly to a new level! Loved the welcome pack, particularly the cake. Fabulous time on the beach and loved the hot choc. deluxe and donuts at the cafe - Even better that the dogs are welcome. Very sad to be leaving but looking forward to our next East Ruston stay. Thank you

St Benets is a very nicely appointed family house, well furnished and a very short walk from the sandy Blue Flag beach at Sea Palling, a small seaside resort with a dog friendly pub, village shop, fish and chips, dog friendly cafe and one small amusement arcade. The beach is protected by rock reefs which form calmer areas of water along the main part of the beach and are ideal for swimming. It is perfect for dog walking and whilst there are restrictions in place from May to September it is only to the left of the access ramp; to the right you can walk the dogs for miles on the beach and in the dunes and stop off at nearby Waxham Barns for a coffee or further on to the Nelson's Head at Horsey for a drink. Seals are a common sight along this stretch of coast.
The house has a contemporary and elegant feel but also manages to be homely and comfortable with many of the original Victorian features retained.
When you get here: St Benets is at the beach end of Beach Road, the first of a pair of 3 storey, semi detached houses on the left opposite the Old Chapel. There is a paved and gated area for parking directly outside the house for up to 3 cars. Car parking is also allowed on the double yellow lines outside the house between 1 October and 30 April. Outside this time restrictions apply - parking is provided further along in Clink Road. 24 hour tickets can be purchased from the machines at £7/day and these are transferable to other North Norfolk District Council car parks for their duration.
