Cottage is very warm and comfortable.  Kids enjoyed the garden and the pond dipping at Norfolk Woodland Trust.  We visited Sea Palling, Winterton, Bacton Woods and Holkham Beach.  Very friendly at Pleasure Boat Inn, lovely food (50p for a game of pool too!)  Plenty of space for kids and dogs to run around.  Will be staying again, thank you.

We have had a wonderful holiday, wonderful holiday and the dogs loved the freedom of the garden with the new fencing.  The large double bed is very comfortable and the house very warm and cosy with the big fire. Hope to see you next year.  This is our third time with you.

We have had the most amazing week at Red Roofs!  Everything we had hoped for - clean, tidy and very homely, especially with the fire blazing in the lounge.  (well it was pretty cold outside)  Our bed was probably the most comfiest we have slept in whilst away from home.  Our Grandson Kian and our dogs - Tobias and Charlie - have had a super time.  Many thanks. x

An enjoyable week.  Home from home watching the wildlife in the garden.  Our  dogs are trained to leave the wildlife alone.  The Greyhound Inn was great.

We have had a lovely time here, great house and location.  Kara particularly liked the Pleasure Boat pub (free chews) and it was also within walking distance for Norman (87!)  He also recommends the fish and chips from Stalham.

Very comfortable, lovely hot water and lovely location.  Another lovely holiday.  Our children and dog grew up here.  20 hapy years.  Swallowtails – cranes – harriers – swimming and seals – Sweet Nell from Whispering Reeds – Canoeing – cycling – all the usual – great fun for the Allen Moons.!!

Beautiful cottage and view  Enjoyed hiring boat for the day on Hickling Broad and then a meal and drinks at the Pleasure Boat inn - very dog friendly.  Wells Next The Sea is well worth a day out.  Great walk at Sea Palling for dogs on the beach.  If you want to take a great picture of the jay bird every evening put some bread and nuts out the front - he is not shy!  Robin also appreciates it.  The lads enjoyed fishing from the boat and beach casting.  Thanks, it's been great.

The house was lovely and warm and there was a proper supply of coal and logs for the fire. Some landlords can be very mean in this respect; this owner was very generous.

Lovely and peaceful holiday. We enjoyed the wildlife – fox, rabbit, squirrel, waterbirds and babies and swallowtail butterfly – and that was just in the garden.

An ideal house for the seven of us and two small dogs. A wonderful position. Saw a barn owl in the field behind the house in the evening. We all enjoyed very much the nature reserve and the great variety of birds and some Chinese water deer in the vicinity.

A very comfortable, spacious cottage and garden. Had a relaxing week. Plan to come again.

First gathering of family for 3 years. House perfect for large family. Garden great for badminton. Rowing boat great fun for fishing and short expeditions. Broads and seaside all wonderful. Everyone gives 10/10! Must mention nature reserve as well. Recommended for any family and anyone interested in beautiful views across Hickling Broad.
