Welcome to Bishy Barnabee, a modern dog-friendly static caravan located at Walnut Farm in Waxham, right on the stunning Norfolk coast. This cosy coastal retreat features its own private enclosed garden complete with a picnic bench, offering the perfect space to relax and enjoy the fresh sea air with your four-legged friends.

- Very easy private walk to the beach in ten minutes!
- Dunes Cafe is a short walk north along the beach, and The Nelson Head at Horsey is worth the walk.
- Poppylands Cafe is a sandy beach walk too.
- The Norfolk seal colony giving birth on the beach in Winter is a natural wonder!
- Enclosed dog field on site (apart from summer school holidays).
- All on one level (note: access is via steps)
- On site shop for goodies and essentials, advice about the area
- Pollywiggle, East Cottage and West Cottage all bookable on the same site (dog friendly of course)

About the property
All about the inside:
Lounge/Kitchen diner
The front door opens into this open plan area. There is comfortable fixed L-shape seating around the carpeted living area with TV. There is a dining table to seat four. The modern kitchen has an integrated fridge freezer, electric oven and four ring gas hob. There is also a microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
Double bedroom
Through into the small hallway and straight ahead is the door opening into the double bedroom. There is a wardrobe, bedside tables and hairdryer.
Twin bedroom 1
Off the hallway is the twin bedroom. Twin 2’6″ beds with a shared bedside table and small wardrobe.
Twin bedroom 2
The second twin room has 2x 2′ beds with a shared bedside table and small wardrobe.
Shower room
The modern and spacious shower room has a walk in shower, WC and basin.
WC
There is a second WC with sink.
All about the outside:
Parking: is on a dedicated area just in front of the fenced area of the static.
Garden: Enter through the gate and into the enclosed gravel area. The fencing here is solid and just under 5ft. There is a picnic bench, sun shade and charcoal bbq and the area is not overlooked and is shaded by mature trees.
Paddock: There is also a 1 acre enclosed dog field on site for guests to use. The field has 4ft/1200mm high stock fencing all the way around for all the zoomies! Please note the field is available all year round (excluding July and August)
Will this property suit my dogs?
This should really suit most dogs (but maybe not noise reactive). The garden is fully secure with solid fencing approx 5ft high; be mindful that it is all gravel. Nothing can be seen outside the garden, but you may be able to hear dogs in the neighbouring garden. Easy, private walks from the door (including to the beach) around field edges.
Please note:
- Bishy Barnabee is a non-smoking property.
- Check in is from 3pm, check out by 11am.
- All supermarkets deliver to the property but please ensure you are here to receive it.
- Electric car charging is NOT available at this property.
- Electric bike and scooter charging is NOT available at this property.
- Dogs are welcome to share beds if you bring your own bed linen. Please let us know in advance.
- Crates: We would prefer that your dogs are not left alone in the property unless you are 100% confident that they will not get stressed. If they are crate trained and you would like to use a crate, please do ask us – we can provide all sizes for free loan. We know how bulky they are to pack!
- Dog sitting. If you would like to go out for a few hours and leave the dogs but are not confident they will settle, please contact the owners for dog sitter recommendations.
Accessibility
The property is all on one level but there are 3 steep steps to access it. Doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs and bathroom space is limited.

Directions
As you enter Walnut Farm, head all the way down the track and pass the farmhouse on your left. Turn left after the farmhouse and you will pass the office/shop and the goat pen. Drive a little further on then turn right onto the parking track in front of Bishy Barnabee.
