Church Fields cottage is the largest cottage on Church Farm, which is perfect for a large family of 6, or two smaller families to go away together.
From parking your car, a ramp or two small steps will lead you to your cottage door.
This double glazed front door, will lead you in to the hall. There are antler hooks on the wall next to the front door to allow you to hang your coats.
The cottage benefits from master light switches. At the front door there is a switch that will turn off all the lighting throughout the property. Each additional room has its own master switch where the individual room lights can be controlled from.
Opposite the front door is the main open plan living area.
Open plan with high oak beamed ceiling. Fully fitted and very well equipped. Includes a built-in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, under-counter fridge with icebox, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Dining table and chairs to seat six.
Comfy leather seating with a large smart TV with DAB radio, DVD player and Freeview via a Sky box. The TV unit is stocked with DVD’s, books, magazines, games and information on places to visit.
The double patio doors lead out on to the courtyard area with access to a large communal grassed area.
Going back out to the hallway the door to your left is the Family bathroom:
A traditional sandstone tiled bathroom, that has an over the bath shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
The door at the very end of the hallway leads to the double en-suite bedroom:
Modern grey fabric double bed, solid pine chest of drawers and matching bedside table units. Antique rack and hooks for hanging clothes, with further hooks behind the door. There is also patio doors leading out to the courtyard. The traditional sandstone tiled en-suite shower room has a large shower, basin and heated towel rail.
Working your way back up the hallway, the next door is a double bedroom:
Faux leather double bed, solid oak tall chest of drawers with matching bedside tables. Antique rack and hooks for hanging clothes, with further hooks behind the door. There is also patio doors leading out to the courtyard.
The final door along the hallway is the children’s bunk bedroom:
The modest children’s room features a white wooden single bunk bed and a matching chest of drawers, boxes of children’s toys and hooks on the back of the door to hang coats.
Under floor heating, gas central heating and solar power. There are thermostats in the kitchen to help adjust the temperature.
The courtyard is all yours to use and is walled to approx. 3ft. There is also access, via a gate to a safe communal grassed area. Seating is at a wooden garden table set with a parasol and a gas barbecue for those warm days!
The cottage benefits from ample parking.

Dogs are welcome to sleep on your beds but please do use the throws provided.

The owners live in Church Farm, so are on-site when and if required, you are most welcome to come and knock for a chat.
Other things to note:
Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury, Asda and Waitrose all deliver to our cottage. If you would like to arrange a delivery before your arrival, we are more than happy to put your shopping away for you. Please request your shopping is delivered after 10am on your arrival day. We can also take in any parcels for any special occasions during your stay, we can either have these ready for you in your cottage on arrival or at the main farmhouse for you to collect when you are ready.

How To Find Us:
As you enter on to Church Farm Road from the B1159, the entrance to Church Farm is a few hundred yards on the left. You will see a large gravel driveway with a sign post. Follow this driveway round the Oak Tree and through the open gate. Church Fields property is the corner cottage.
