Welcome to this comfortable and family-friendly three-bedroom holiday home in the village of Spixworth, ideally positioned for exploring the very best of Norfolk. With a downstairs bedroom, two bathrooms, an enclosed garden and parking, it’s a practical and welcoming choice for families and dog owners alike.

The heart of the property is the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, creating a sociable space where everyone can relax, cook and enjoy time together after a day exploring. The three bedrooms provide flexible accommodation for families, with one bedroom conveniently located on the ground floor.

Outside, the enclosed garden provides a secure space for children and dogs to enjoy some fresh air, while off-road parking makes arriving and unloading easy.

Dogs are particularly well catered for, with up to three dogs welcome free of charge.

Spixworth is ideally located for exploring the area, with the dog-friendly city of Norwich just a short drive away, offering an excellent choice of shops, restaurants, cafés, attractions and green spaces. You’re also within easy reach of the stunning North Norfolk coast, with its beautiful beaches, coastal walks and dog-friendly destinations, as well as the tranquil Norfolk Broads, perfect for walking, wildlife watching and days out on the water.

We’re Lauren & Marc, the owners of this much-loved holiday home. We’ve enjoyed renovating the property ourselves and have loved turning it into a comfortable, welcoming place for guests to enjoy.
We love making the most of everything the local area has to offer — from relaxing on the nearby beaches and enjoying coastal walks with our dogs, to exploring the city and the beautiful Norfolk Broads. We’re also big fans of the fantastic local restaurants and finding fun activities for children.

About the property

All about the inside:

Kitchen/Diner/Living Area
The well appointed modern kitchen is spacious and bright. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, gas hob, microwave and integrated fridge\freezer. Guests can also enjoy kettle, toaster and air fryer. The kitchen island brings the space together. There is a large dining table to seat six, and comfortable seating around a large smart TV.

Downstairs Twin Bedroom
The downstairs bedroom has two full size single beds. There is a large wardrobe and chest of drawers for plenty of storage. Patio doors lead out to the private and enclosed back terrace – the perfect space for a morning brew.

Downstairs Bathroom
The downstairs bathroom has a large bath with shower over, WC and basin.

Bedroom One
Upstairs to the left is a beautifully bright bedroom with kingsize bed. Views over the surrounding fields and plenty of storage for clothes.

Bedroom Two
Across the landing there is another kingsize bedroom with Velux window, clothes storage and bedside table.

Upstairs Shower Room
Between the two upstairs bedrooms there is a newly renovated shower room with walk in shower, WC and basin.

All about the outside:

Enter the long gated driveway to find Foxley Lodge with parking for two cars outside. The garden is fully enclosed with a lawn and patio area. Two sides are 6ft fencing, whilst the entrance to the garden is via a 3ft brick and metal fence with gate. On the patio you will find a dining table with seating for 6 for dining al fresco, along with a large gas BBQ and parasol.

The courtyard off the downstairs bedroom is fully enclosed with artificial grass and a bistro table and two chairs.

Please note:

  • We ask that you bring your own bedding if your dogs would like to join you on the beds.
  • Foxley Lodge is a NO smoking property.
  • Arrival is from 4pm, departure 10am.
  • Electric car, bike or scooter charging is NOT available.
  • All major supermarkets deliver here. Please arrange your delivery for after your arrival.
  • Crates: We would prefer that your dogs are not left alone in the property unless you are 100% confident that they will not get stressed.  If they are crate trained and you would like to use a crate, please do ask us – we can provide all sizes for free loan.  We know how bulky they are to pack!
  • Dog sitting.  If you would like to go out for a few hours and leave the dogs but are not confident they will settle, please see our website page for dog sitter recommendations.  Shannons Pet Care would be the one we highly recommend.

Accessibility

Foxley Lodge is entered from a gravel parking area but just a few steps will get you to get to the front door with a slight step over the threshold.

When inside, there is a downstairs bedroom with walk in shower room beside.  The living, dining and kitchen areas are also downstairs.
