Cosy static caravan moments from the beach
Pollywiggle is a beautifully laid-out static caravan located at Walnut Farm, set within its own private, enclosed gardencomplete with a picnic bench — perfect for relaxing outdoors.
Sleeping up to 4 guests, Pollywiggle features one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, along with a convenient Jack and Jill shower room. The accommodation is all on one level (please note: access is via steps).
Enjoy a private countryside walk to the beach in just 10 minutes, or explore private farmland dog walks leading to the Norfolk Broads, making this an ideal choice for dog-friendly holidays in Norfolk. During winter, guests can witness the spectacular seal colony giving birth on the nearby beach, a truly unforgettable natural experience.
Walnut Farm also offers an on-site shop stocked with essentials and local treats, plus friendly local advice to help you make the most of your stay. Don’t forget to visit the pet goats, safely enclosed in a dog-proof paddock — a hit with all ages.
- Dunes Cafe is a short walk north along the beach, and The Nelson Head at Horsey is worth the walk.
- Poppylands Cafe is a sandy beach walk too.
- If Pollywiggle is booked for the dates you want we have Bishy Barnaby, East Cottage and West Cottage on the same site.

About the property
All about the inside:
Lounge/Kitchen diner
The front door opens into this open plan area. There is plenty of fixed seating all around the far edge and plenty of windows with lovely views of trees and the nearby fields and hedges. The table easily seats 4 and there is a electric heater and small tv/dvd player (with a selection of dvds). Flooring is laminate with a washable rug at the entrance.
The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and kettle and is well equipped.
Double bedroom
Through into the small hallway and straight ahead is the door opening into the double bedroom. There is storage space, side tables with lamps and views out to the surrounding trees.
Twin bedroom
Off the hallway is the twin bedroom. Twin 2’6″ beds with a shared bedside table and overhead storage.
Shower room
The shower room can be accessed via the main bedroom and hall way. There is a walk in shower, WC and basin.
All about the outside:
Parking: There is a dedicated parking area just in front of the fenced area of the static.
Garden: Enter through the gate and into the enclosed gravel area. The fencing here is solid and just under 5ft. There is a picnic bench, sun shade and charcoal bbq and the area is not overlooked and is shaded by mature trees.
Paddock: There is a 1 acre enclosed dog field on site for guests to use. The field has 4ft/1200mm high stock fencing all the way around for all the zoomies! Please note the field is closed from 16 July – 1 September 2026.
Use of the paddock is down to guests’ discretion and you may use the paddock whenever it’s free. We just ask that you clean up after your dogs after each use.
Will this property suit my dogs?
This should really suit most dogs (but maybe not noise reactive). The garden is fully secure with solid fencing approx 5ft high; be mindful that it is all gravel. Nothing can be seen outside the garden, but you may be able to hear dogs in the neighbouring garden. Easy, private walks from the door (including to the beach) around field edges.
Please note:
- Pollywiggle is a non-smoking property.
- Check in is from 3pm, check out by 11am.
- All supermarkets deliver to the property but please ensure you are here to receive it.
- Electric car, bike and scooter charging is NOT available at this property.
- Dogs are welcome to share beds if you bring your own bed linen.
- Crates: We would prefer that your dogs are not left alone in the property unless you are 100% confident that they will not get stressed. If they are crate trained and you would like to use a crate, please do ask us – we can provide all sizes for free loan. We know how bulky they are to pack!
- Dog sitting. If you would like to go out for a few hours and leave the dogs but are not confident they will settle, please contact the owners for dog sitter recommendations.
Accessibility
The property is all on one level but there are 3 steep steps to access it. Doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs and bathroom space is limited.

Directions
As you enter Walnut Farm, head all the way down the track and pass the farmhouse on your left. Turn left after the farmhouse and you will pass the office/shop and the goat pen. Drive a little further on then turn right onto the parking track in front of Pollywiggle.
