Best dog friendly places to eat in Sheringham
When you arrive in Sheringham as a visitor during your Norfolk holiday here with us… you will be totally spoilt for food choices! This little seaside town has way more than its fair share of excellent, easy, tasty places to eat and this is where we are going to share some of them with you!
One of our absolute favourites is Whelk Coppers tea rooms. Literally overlooking the sea and in a traditional old seaside building. Great food, excellent coffee and lovely staff and very dog welcoming too of course! They do vegan and veggie options, gluten free too! We love this little place so much that we offer our repeat guests a voucher to spend there from our choice of vouchers we have to support our favourite local dog friendly businesses. Don’t take our word for it – have a look at their great reviews on Trip Advisor.
Want a good evening meal or lunch? The Two Lifeboats in Sheringham is a truly dog welcoming pub and couldn’t really have a more seaside-y name could it!? It overlooks the sea which means having a drink outside is an extra special treat. See more on their Trip Advisor review here.
Another seaside, dog friendly (that’s the best combination isn’t it!?) option is The Crown pub. On the seafront, serving great food and beer.
Now, what about other coffee shops. Camellia Cottage – character, canine friendly, cake filled coffee house (well it’s a tea room but that didn’t really match!) Lovey reviews on Trip Advisor too! Just don’t read them if you are on a diet…. cake, cake, cake, cake!
If you are a coffee afficionado then The Grey Seal is THE place to go. Coffee is divine and you can buy all sorts of roasts there too! Towards the bottom of the high street and dog friendly of course. And to give you a flavour, here are the Trip Advisor reviews.
And The Kitchen. Check this one out on the website here and on Trip Advisor. Great breakfasts seem to be there thing! I am actually struggling to find anywhere in Sheringham that isn’t dog friendly and this one certainly is!
And take aways? There’s the yummy Chai-Yo Thai in the High Street with some good Trip Advisor reviews …. get me a portion of their lovely Na-Moo while you are there!? The La-Bone Indian is at the top of the High Street, so a little bit further away but worth it for their fabulous food and they will deliver to Victoria Court too, so that makes it nice and easy. Well rated on Trip Advisor too! And you have to try Fat Ted’s Streat Food! ( and no, I haven’t made a spelling mistake!) A great high street pop up with a wonderful reputation. The Trip Advisor reviews testify to that!
So whether you are in Sheringham just for the day (maybe to go to nearby Sheringham Park for a beautiful dog walk or on the Poppy Line steam train to Holt) you won’t have any problem finding somewhere to eat with your dogs!
