Single storey luxury barn conversion
This modern single story barn conversion has been finished to a high standard and is perfect for couples or older families to go away together, as both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms.
When you arrive: Plenty of parking on our dedicated gravel car park. From here just a ramp or two small steps will lead you to your cottage door.
Enter through the double glazed front door (see note below about the great master light switch system!) and this will lead you in to the main open plan living area.
Open plan with high oak beamed ceiling. Fully fitted and very well equipped. Includes a built-in electric oven, gas hob, microwave, retro fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Extendable solid oak dining table and chairs – plenty of room for all of you.
Comfy seating with a large smart TV with DAB radio, DVD player and Freeview via a Sky box. The TV unit is stocked with a good selection of DVDs, books, magazines, games and information on places to visit.
From here, the double patio doors lead out on to the large courtyard area, walled and just for Lighthouse Cottage guests and dogs, with access from this to a large communal grassed area.
En-suite Double bedroom:
Silver crushed velvet double bed, shabby chic chest of drawers and matching bedside tables. Antique rack and hook for hanging clothes, with further hooks behind the door. There are also patio doors leading out to the large courtyard.
The traditional sandstone tiled en-suite shower room has a large shower, basin and heated towel rail.
En-suite Twin bedroom:
Silver crushed velvet twin beds, shabby chic chest of drawers and matching bedside tables. Antique rack and hook for hanging clothes, with further hooks behind the door. There are patio doors leading out to the large courtyard.
The traditional sandstone tiled en-suite shower room has a large shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
Under floor heating, gas central heating and solar power. There are thermostats in the kitchen to help adjust the temperature.
The courtyard is walled and gated for your use and from here you can access a safe and enclosed communal grassed area. There is a wooden garden table set in the courtyard as well as a rattan sofa and coffee table set, parasol and a gas barbecue.

We ask that you do not smoke in our cottage.
Dogs are welcome to sleep on your beds but please do use the throws provided in the dog basket. If you would like for them to sleep in your beds, please bring your own bedding.
Mobile reception is variable.
The cottage benefits from master light switches. At the front door there is a switch that will turn off all the lighting throughout the property, as well as controlling the opening plan living areas individually. Each bedroom has its own master switch where the bedroom lights can be controlled from.
Guests have exclusive access to the cottage, shared access to a communal grassed area and also access to our large unenclosed field (soon to be fully enclosed).
Interaction with guests:
We live in Church Farm, so are on-site when and if required, you are most welcome to come and knock for a chat.
Other things to note:
Tesco, Morrison’s, Sainsbury, Asda and Waitrose all deliver to our cottage. If you would like to arrange a delivery before your arrival, we are more than happy to put your shopping away for you. Please request your shopping is delivered after 10am on your arrival day. We can also take in any parcels for any special occasions during your stay, we can either have these ready for you in your cottage on arrival or at the main farmhouse for you to collect when you are ready.

We are not even at the end of our stay yet, but have had the best time so far! We are staying in Lighthouse Cottage but had the privileged of seeing the others and all are to a very high standard. Great location to explore the Norfolk broads and coast, and the cottages catered perfectly for our 5 month old and bouncy Labrador! We will definitely all be back again, thanks guys!

How To Find Us:
Church Farm Road
As you enter on to Church Farm Road from the B1159, the entrance to Church Farm is a few hundred yards on the left. You will see a large gravel driveway with a sign post. Follow this driveway through the gates and round the field, you will then be in the main car parking area. You can either park here, or go further down and park directly outside your cottage.
Dog friendly, quiet location, feels like home from home. 5* throughout. lots of finishing touches, welcome goodies, for us and the dogs 😁 very warm and relaxing atmosphere. patio doors open straight onto a large, well kept patio which leads straight to a grassed area for the dogs. Very Safe environment for the dogs. Beautiful views. Sea Palling is a must visit, beautiful dog friendly beach with restaurants and WC facilities. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back .
We stayed in Light House Cottage for four nights. The attention to detail by the owners was outstanding- stylish and practical. Very dog friendly. In a nutshell it was just perfect for us. Near to several beautiful beaches and close to Bacton Wood. 5 stars. We cannot wait to go back there.
